Our clients are a currently seeking an experienced Cost Manager to join their growing consultancy in Bristol, project locations are in the surrounding regions with a hybrid approach to working (couple of days working from home per week).
The successful candidate would be based within a commutable distance to Bristol, have prior experience working in a construction consultancy and have at least 2years experience working on projects in the built environment (Education, healthcare, retail, mixed use and so on).
This client have positions available from mid-senior level and are open to hearing from candidates who meet the below requirements. Candidates must be based in the UK and have experience of working in the UK to be considered for these opportunities.
Successful applicants will meet the following criteria:
Minimum 2years experience as a Quantity Surveyor/ Cost Manager working for a consultancy side business.
Experience in commercial or built environment projects such as Education, healthcare, retail, leisure and so on.
Preferably have a relevant degree to Quantity Surveying, however we may also consider candidates who have progressed from trainee level within a business.
Preferably experience with both JCT & NEC contracts, but experience with either will also be considered.
Ideally be working towards RICS membership or chartership – we will provide support to achieve chartership if the person desires this.
Must have clear and concise communication skills, be well organised and capable of handling client facing scenarios confidently whilst representing the company name.
Expected salary of £35,000 – £65,000 (dependant on experience), 2-3days usually spent with clients at project sites/ offices with the other days working remotely. Excellent growth opportunities available with support to achieve chartership.
