Employers Agent Full Time Permanent

Overview

Our clients are an established construction consultancy located in Bristol who are looking for the next fantastic addition to their growing team!

The position of Employers Agent work between client and contractor, covering a wide range of duties and ensure the project is being delivered to the clients specifications. This role is perfect for candidates with a construction background in Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying or Project Management.

The project work is predominantly Social Hosing, Residential new builds and private developers so a background of project experience in these areas is preferred to ensure a smooth transition into the position, however this aspect can be flexible depending on other relevant experience.

Successful applicants will meet the following criteria:

• Minimum 2years experience in the construction industry, either in a Employers Agent position or as a Quantity Surveyor, Building Surveyor or Project Manager.
• Ideally have experience working for a consultancy (although we can be flexible on this aspect for the right person).
• Previous experience within the residential sector, specifically design & build and social housing projects would be great!
• Member of RICS or working towards chartership (or similar qualification) – support and funding can be provided for this.
• Capable of working flexibly, this is a hybrid-field based role where travel to sites in the region to oversee work will be required, but you will also have days working from home – candidates must be comfortable with these travelling and commitment aspects.
• Commutable distance to Bristol as this will be your allocated office location.
• Candidates applying should be: Self-motivated, ability to work independently, manage timescales/ workload and use own initiative in overcoming any problems that may arise.

Expected salary of £35-50k (dependant on experience) with an excellent package that includes car allowance, travel allowance, bonus and many other benefits.
