Project Manager/ Assistant project manager Full Time Permanent

Project Manager & Assistant Project Manager required for a growing Environmental consultancy – covering various project locations. Both PM and APM positions are important to support our clients joint growth so if you are looking for a new opportunity then read on!

My client specialise in Environmental projects that include Rivers, Canals, Animal habitat mitigation and similar areas. The project managers will be expected to have 3+ years similar project experience, with transferable skills coming from Civils/ infrastructure/ rail/ ecology backgrounds. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver projects to the highest quality, ensuring H&S and environmental standards are consistently met.

Successful Assistant Quantity Surveyors will meet the following criteria:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar industry role (2years+ for APM)
• Must be experienced in ECC, NEC3 options A and E.
• Experience of leading and managing professional site teams and sub-contractors
• Experience/ knowledge of groundworks
• Experience in delivering best standards throughout delivery
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with key stake holders of all levels
• Positive, pro-active attitude
• Good communicator
• Experience of working within ecological mitigation, landscaping, arboriculture desirable
• Desirables include  – SMSTS, APM, Prince2, MRICS
• Must be able to work sensitively with the public and local stakeholders.
