An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Property Manager to join an independent Property Management company with a varied portfolio throughout Southampton and the surrounding areas. This reputable Property Management firm has an established and varied Residential and Commercial portfolio and is looking for an experienced Property Manager who can manage the full tenancy cycle, alongside some block management responsibilities including refurbishment projects.
The successful Property Manager will be experienced within Property Management or Block Management, hardworking and reliable. You must be presentable, a good communicator, willing to learn and able to use your own initiative. You must have a good understanding of lettings legislation and have the ability to deal with high pressure situations and a busy and varied case load. AIRPM Qualifications or training would be an advantage.
The successful Property Manager will have had previous experience working within a property management environment, either within agency or a property management firm. You must have experience in using Microsoft office packages and ideally have some experience of property management systems. Experience of student lets, commercial lettings, site management or block management would be an advantage, but not essential.
This role will include all aspects of Property Management including, building relationships by liaising with landlords and tenants, dealing with maintenance, issuing section notices, refurbishment management, block management and dealing with general lettings administration.
