Trainee Lettings Negotiator Full Time Permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, personable and confident Trainee Lettings Negotiator to join a thriving independent Lettings Agency in Brighton. This market leading agency has a strong Lettings brand and a positive reputation in the Brighton Lettings Market, and they are looking for a confident and personable  Lettings Negotiator to complement their existing close-knit team.

Please note, as viewings and property visits will be an essential part of this role, you must have a drivers license and use of your own car for this position.

The successful Trainee Lettings Negotiator will ideally have some prior experience in the property sector however this is not essential.  We will happily consider people with experience in other targeted sales or customer service roles who can demonstrate strong sales skills both over the phone and in person, while also demonstrating excellent attention to detail, good organisation skills, and strong diary management and appointment booking skills.

As you will represent the agency at viewings and property visits, you must be very well presented. You will also need excellent written and verbal communication skills and more importantly a passion to succeed and grow your skills within the Estate Agency.

As part of a Lettings Negotiator’s role is to advise prospective tenants on properties in different areas as part of the sales process, you will need to have a good working knowledge of Brighton and surrounding areas.  

Working alongside an established team, the successful Lettings Negotiator will get involved in all elements of the agency from speaking to clients on the phone, booking and attending viewings, assisting with general administration and property marketing, however initially the key responsibilities will be property viewings, appointment booking and property inspections once trained.

Although you’ll be joining as a Trainee Lettings Negotiator, this agency actively encourages ongoing professional development and growth with opportunities available to progress within the company.

Estate Agent Lettings Negotiator – Experience Needed

• Previous experience in a customer facing sales or customer service role
• Previous experience of working to targets
• Previous experience in an office environment
• You will have strong communication skills with excellent interpersonal skills
• You will have solid IT skills and experience of using CRM systems
• Negotiation skills and a natural sales ability is key
• You will be well spoken and well presented
• You will have excellent organisational skills and punctuality is of upmost importance
